225th anniversay edition cookbook by the United Presbyterian Church in Lebanon, KY. 1789-2014.

In 1789, a colony of Scotch-Irish Presbyterians from Virginia crossed the mountains of southeastern Kentucky. They pitched their tents in present Marion County. After building homes for their families, they selected a site for a house of worship. In November of the same year, they erected a log cabin 16 feet square. This was the first church erected in Marion County by any denomination and was free to be used by preachers of any faith.
